Kennel 101 Germany

means finding, testing and purchasing excellent German shepherds.

Hans drives to various locations in Germany to test potential police dogs.

Here on a farm in Northern Germany he finds several dogs to test. Bite work, hunt,

fetch, temperament and other tests determine if the dog will make it to the next step.

This dog makes it into the Kennel 101 Van. Now the shepherd must pass the tests at the vet.

Hans helps his vet position the dog for x-rays of hips and elbows

Hans examines the x-rays himself just to be certain all is as it should be. Hans carefully checks the canines for signs of decay or signs of problems.

All looks good so Hans proceeds to examine the X-rays himself. He has seen literally thousands of X-rays over the years and knows exactly what to look for.

This dog is lucky it has passed all these tests and more. It will get on the plane and go to America. He may have a full time job as a Police dog or a family personal protection companion. This 18 month old German shepherd is one of the best you can find. Hand picked by Hans.

Here we visit a farm in central Germany

again we test a variety of dogs but only two go home with us.

Above Hans tests this German  shepherd's drive to retrieve

on a slippery floor with many distractions. Only if he passes

5 or 6 different hunt and fetch tests outside and inside buildings will he go on to bite work.

He did go so on he goes...

Below we see if this potential police dog can pass

the muzzle test

Hans is pleased so the German shepherd goes

to the next set of tests.

Now the shepherd must perform on a slippery floor

inside a building.

With no hesitation this excellent shepherd

launches himself

on Hans

he displays excellent nerves.

He is half way to getting on the plane for the U.S.A.

After more testing these dogs still must pass the medical before they can come to the U.S.A.

Some will become police dogs, some will become family companion dogs.

Ken takes possession of this 19 month old German

Shepherd. He meets the requirements of a customer in America.

He will have an excellent life as a family companion dog.

Hans, and Ken say goodbye to Wolfgang

. Hans and Ken spent a day on the road, they tested 12 dogs and ended up buying two. It was a good day. These two dogs are excellent.

This is how we will find and select a  German Shepherd import dog for you.
